Add, edit, resize, and reorder data cards within a view

Each view is made up of cards arranged in a grid. Cards pull data from your statement data source and render it as a chart, table, or map.

Adding and editing cards

In Edit mode (click Edit in the toolbar), you can:

• Add cards — drag a card type from the sidebar into the grid
• Insert a card between existing cards — hover over any card to reveal + buttons on its left and right edges, then click to choose a card type to insert
• Resize cards — drag the card border
• Reorder cards — drag the grip handle in the card header
• Edit a card — click the pencil icon on the card
• Duplicate a card — open the card menu (⋮) → Duplicate
• Delete a card — open the card menu (⋮) → Delete
• Duplicate a row — open the row menu (⋮) → Duplicate
• Delete a row — open the row menu (⋮) → Delete

While in edit mode, the toolbar shows the name of the view you are editing and displays Save and Cancel buttons. Click Save to persist your changes or Cancel to discard them.

Card types

Type	Description
Area Chart	Revenue or volume trend over time, filled area
Bar Chart	Grouped, stacked, or horizontal comparisons
Line Chart	Trend lines over time
Pie Chart	Proportional breakdown
Table	Paginated data grid with dimensions and metrics
Pivot Table	Cross-tabulated grid with row dimensions, a column dimension, and metrics — useful for comparing values across periods or categories
Map	Geographic breakdown by territory

Card footer

Every card shows a two-column footer:

• Left — the card’s Footnote text, if one is configured (e.g. “Breakdown by accounting period”).
• Right — compact indicators showing the configured metrics and dimensions. Hover each to see the full list with aggregation methods and dimension types.

Card properties

When editing a card, the properties panel is organized as follows:

Section	Description
Title	Optional label shown in the card header
Chart Display	Chart type selector and variant (e.g. stacked) — charts only
Max height	Controls how tall the card renders (Auto, 200 px – 1200 px, default 400 px)
Axes / Dimensions / Metrics	Fields that define what data the card shows
Breakdown	(Charts only) Split a metric into series by a dimension — area, bar, and line charts
Limit	Maximum rows returned; set to None to return all rows
Footnote	A single line of text shown in the bottom-left of the card footer

Max height

All card types support a Max height setting. Options range from 200 px to 1200 px (default 400 px), plus Auto, which lets the card grow to fit its content. Set this in the card’s properties panel.

Use Auto height for horizontal bar charts or maps where the content height depends on the number of rows or the map’s natural proportions.
